There are three main ways in which you can make changes to your website once the initial design is complete. You can choose to pay for a change as a one-off (according to the table shown below), you could purchase change units or alternatively, if you are likely to make a larger number of changes, you could opt for our Design Package.

Change Units
The change units you purchase from SmarterWays can be used in the following ways:
1. A simple change to your website can be made using 1 unit.
2. If you want to make a more complex change, for example, a new web page, you can also do this with change units. 3 change units can be exchanged for the development of a new web page on your site .
Our aim is that you should get the best value for money from the services you receive from SmarterWays so you can exchange units against almost any service we offer. Below is a table which illustrates a number of ways that you could use up your units.

Change units cost £20 each and can be bought in bundles of either 5, 10 or 20. These are immediately credited against your account and your balance will be visible through the SmarterWays User Portal.

We believe that SmarterWays should not be around just to get your website on the internet. That is just the start of your journey onto the world wide web. We believe that we should be by your side every step of this journey and if you think that you may want to make a large number of changes to your site during the first year then perhaps our design package is for you. You can choose a number of hours of dedicated development that suits you. You can then rest easy knowing that we are ready to make the changes you want when you want them.The SmarterWays User Portal
SmarterWays allows you to make changes to your site at anytime. You can track these changes using my.smarterways.net, the SmarterWays user portal.Uses
When SmarterWays first starts work on your website design, you will be given access to our user portal. This is a secure online portal through which you can watch your site develop. Each page we design can be viewed through it and you will be able to see your site develop before it finally becomes live on the internet. What's more, you are able to log and track each change you suggest to the site design through the same portal.Once your site becomes live you will then be able to log and track changes to your site using the portal. This allows you to keep track of how many changes you have left and if necessary purchase new ones when you have run out.
